Disappearance

On August 6, 2022, Andi Wagner was last seen leaving her grandparents home in the 3700 block of Stanford Drive in Evansville, Indiana.

Andi briefly came home that day to pack a bag and spoke to her younger sister for ten minutes. She said that she was excited about her upcoming move to Texas, but did not disclose where she was going or who she was with.

Andi never showed up after that day and has never been heard from again. On August 12, 2022, her family filed a missing person’s report with the Evansville Police Department.

Authorities stated that three locations in nearby sites were also searched after the FBI received a tip regarding Andi’s disappearance. A collection of evidence was sent to the state lab for testing.

On May 20, 2024, 29-year-old Kyle Aaron Dersch was arrested by police for alleged firearms offenses, which include a charge of possession of a firearm by a serious violent offender.

Kyle Aaron Dersch, of Oakland City, lived in the house which was previously searched by authorities. His name had been listed in Andi’s initial missing person report but he was not publicly named as a person of interest or suspect.
