The Disappearance of Tamara Bradley

30 year old Tamara Bradley was last seen in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30, 1994. She disappeared after leaving her place of employment in the 3500 block of 2nd Street North.

Background

At the time of her disappearance, Tamara was living in a mobile home in Blaine, Minnesota. Her five year old son was visiting his father (Tamara’s ex-husband) for a weekend visit.

Tamara’s employer, Federal Foam Technologies, was in the process of moving to Wisconsin and Tamara was in the process of looking for a new house to be closer to it’s new location.

Disappearance

At approximately 3:30 pm on September 30, 1994, Tamara Bradley was last seen leaving her job at Federal Foam Technologies located in the 3500 block of 2nd Street North in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She was last seen driving north on Washington Avenue towards East River Road, her normal route to return home. Tamara never made it back home and hasn’t been heard from since.

Tamara’s mother reported her missing to the Blaine Police Department on October 2 after she failed to pick up her son from a weekend visit with his father.

Investigation

There has been no activity on Tamara’s bank accounts since she went missing. She left behind three uncashed paychecks as well as an uncashed child support check.

According to Tamara’s co-worker, Tamara was in a good mood on September 30, and had plans to look for housing in Stillwater, Minnesota that weekend.

Tamara’s family says it’s unlike her to leave without warning, and that she would never abandon her son.

On October 3, 1994, Tamara’s vehicle, a silver four door 1998 Buick Century Custom with Minnesota plate 286CCY was found at the Greyhound bus station in the 1000 block of Hawthorne Avenue, about 5 miles away from where she was last seen leaving work.

The car was towed to an impound lot, with no one realizing it was connected to Tamara’s disappearance until later. Since the car didn’t have a ticket on it’s windshield police assume it was only in the spot for a short time before being towed.

Authorities examined the vehicle, but found nothing of evidentiary value. The keys were found inside the vehicle, as well as some papers, clothing, and other personal items. The driver’s seat was fully extended to accommodate a tall person.

In April 2024, Laddie Lake Park, just south of 89th Avenue Northeast in Blaine, was searched after a tip came in about Tamara’s possible whereabouts. Unfortunately nothing was located.

Many people have been questioned regarding Tamara’s disappearance over the years, but no arrests have been made. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
