The Disappearance of Harley Morris

29-year-old Harley Morris was last seen in north Tyler, Texas on January 21, 2024. He disappeared after spending a night out with friends.

Background

Harley Warren Morris was born on June 20, 1994 to parents Wendy and Bill Morris. He worked as a chef at Prime 102, a steakhouse restaurant in downtown Tyler, Texas. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Disappearance

On January 21, 2024, Harley Morris was last seen in Tyler, Texas, after he spent the night out with friends.

The group first went to SportsZone Bar on East Erwin Street where they had some drinks before they headed to 50 Grand Club at 2126 North Grand Avenue, near Texas College.

Around 3:00 am, Harley left the 50 Grand Club and was captured on surveillance camera walking alone north of the 2100 block of North Grand Avenue into a parking lot.

Harley never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since. His family filed a missing person’s report with the Tyler Police Department when he did not show up.

Investigation

Authorities are asking residents and businesses north of Gentry Parkway to North Loop 323 to check security and doorbell cameras for signs of someone walking on January 21, 2024, between 3:00 – 7:00 am.

They’re also asking residents to check around for items they know Harley was wearing when he went missing.

“Unless we know where to look, or put the drones or send the dogs, then we don’t have a location and nowhere to send them,” Erbaugh said. “Game wardens have been assisting us with their drones looking at wooded areas and just last weekend the game wardens were out with their drones looking and certain areas,” Andy Erbaugh, Public Information Officer for Tyler Police Department said in a statement to KETK back in February.

Whereabouts

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Harley Morris’s discovery.

The circumstances of Harley’s disappearance remain unclear and his case is currently classified as missing. His case remains unsolved.

Appearance

Physical Description:
White male born on June 20, 1994. Brown long wavy hair with brown eyes. Harley is 6’2-6’3 tall and weighs 160-165 pounds.

Distinctive Physical Features:
Harley has a scar that looks like a lightning bolt on one of his wrists.

Clothing and accessories:
Harley was last seen wearing a black hoodie (grey on the hoodie and sleeves, with red inner lining, strings and logo on the front), black pants, black Birkenstock chef shoes, and a black PRIME 102 baseball hat.
