The Disappearance of Danielle Lopez
37-year-old Danielle Lopez was last seen in Vincentown, New Jersey on April 13, 2024. She disappeared a day after telling her family that she planned to go camping at Wharton State Park.
Background
Described as sweet, loving, and caring by her family, Danielle took care of her grandfather until he died of COVID in 2020. Her father died about a month later from a heart attack.
She was known to frequent Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Pemberton Township, and Willingboro Township.
Disappearance
On April 12, 2024, Danielle Lopez last spoke with her family, telling them she planned to go camping at Wharton State Park, New Jersey’s largest forest with more than 124,000 acres spanning three counties.
At 9:11 am on April 13, 2024, Danielle was last seen at Wawa, a convenience store located at 4 Route 72 in Vincentown, New Jersey. Danielle hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Danielle’s mother believes she was with someone when she was leaving Wawa, but says it doesn’t appear she was in immediate danger.
Investigation
Authorities state that Danielle Lopez went missing “under suspicious circumstances.” New Jersey state police have not commented on their investigation beyond stating they’re “seeking assistance” from the public.
Danielle’s vehicle, a 2008 2-door blue Hyundai Accent with New Jersey tag H99SXT, was later found disabled on Lost Lane Road, a dirt road in the 3,400-acre Penn State Forest in Woodland Township, Burlington County.

The circumstances of Danielle Lopez’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.
