The Disappearance of Melissa Eck

15 year old Melissa Eck was last seen in Pensacola, Florida on June 25, 1992. She disappeared after leaving her boyfriend’s residence, located in the 1700 block of Blakely Avenue.
Disappearance
At approximately 8:00 pm on June 25, 1992, Melissa Eck left her boyfriend’s residence in the 1700 block of Blakely Avenue in Pensacola, Florida.
She had plans to walk to another friends home, located at Patricia Drive and Clara Street, approximately one mile away. Her boyfriend walked her part of the way before returning home.
Melissa was last seen walking with another person on Patricia Drive between West Cerny Road and West Fairfield Drive. She never arrived at her friend’s house, and hasn’t been heard from since.
Investigation
Melissa left her purse behind, as well as all of her clothing. She also failed to pick up her paychecks from the job she had recently started at The Original Point Restaurant on Innerarity Road.
Foul play is suspected in Melissa’s disappearance, though no suspects have been publicly named, nor have any arrests been made.
Whereabouts
The location of Melissa Eck, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown. Her case is classified as endangered missing and remains unsolved.
Appearance
White female born on November 8, 1976. Melissa has brown hair and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance she stood 5’6 tall and weighed 110 pounds.
Her ears are pierced and she has a BB pellet from a BB gun embedded in her buttocks. She had a Norplant birth control device embedded in her upper left arm. She always had her nails painted, usually in unconventional colors.
Clothing & Accessories:
Melissa was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts, black shoes. She was possibly wearing hoop earrings, hoop bracelets, and one or more necklaces.
